- Scale 20 to 150, graduated in increments of 2 and labelled at intervals of 10 printed in black ink. Scale labelled "FLOATING DAIRY THERMOMETER". Also marked on scale are "Freezing" [32 degree mark], "Churning" [62 degree mark], "Cheese" [85 degree mark] and "Scalding" [150 degree mark]. Red line highlights 63-degree point. " * MADE IN GERMANY" stamped in blue ink on paper scale. UHN catalogue no. "976.6.20 a" printed by hand in black ink on glass casing, near bulb end.
