Example of a book used by young girls in Canada c. 1936-1937 to practice and identify various types of stitching. This book belonged to Hélène Généreux (mother of the donor) who attended Couvent des Soeurs du Sacré-Coeur, located at Avenue des Oblates in Ottawa. She made the book as part of her domestic economy classes when she was 13/14 years old. - Fonction
