Technique: Bright red long-sleeve shirt made from flame-resistant fabric provided wearer with increased protection from insects, brush and sunlight; increased visibility in dense brush; and reduced the danger of clothing catching fire or melting.

White coated paper label sewn to inside proper left seam bears standard laundering symbols and text "384/06/98/ Shell- Exterieur/ 100% Momex IIIA/ Aramid- Armide/ FLAME RESISTANT-/ APPRETS/ IGNIFUGES/ STYLE/ MODELE/ 8334/ SIZE/ TAILLE/ L/ MADE IN CANADA FABRIQUE AU CANADA/ CA02452".

Fini: Bright red tightly woven Momex IIIA fabric shirt has front [synthetic] button closures; black velcro closures at wrist. Mechanically embroidered fabric badges decorate upper arm area of each sleeve.
Décoration: Identical oval shaped fabric badges sewn to each arm depict single tree, with blue water and sky, green and yellow forest, and green mountain in background.
