Markings on bottle indicate/ approximate volumes./ Dried serum should not be reconstituted until immediately/ prior to the administration of the serum. In no circumstances/ should dried serum to which water has been added be stored for future use./ Prepared by/ CONNAUGHT LABORATORIES/ UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO/ TORONTO, CANADA/ for/ H.M. GOVERNMENT/ DOMINION OF CANADA/ from blood/ obtained from voluntary donors by/ THE CANADIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY" and "NOTES FOR ADMINISTRATION/ (Volume of serum before drying, 400 cc.) printed on paper label. "T.C.W. Co./ NO- SOLVIT/ U.S.A." appears in raised form on underside of bottle. Scale labelled 100- 400 cc. appears in raised form on bottle. UHN catalogue no. "989.6 a" printed by hand in black ink on lower edge of bottle.

Fini: Clear glass bottle has red rubber cap; orange paper label on bottle front bears red text; khaki-colour woven fabric bands [twill tape ?] secured to bottle allow it to be suspended during use.
