An American-made version of Grassot's fluxmeter. The Grassot fluxmeter is based on a D'Arsonval (moving coil) movement but with no spring providing restorative torque (see ref 2). The vertical cylinder houses a column from which a light coil of wire is suspended in a magnetic field in such a way that it can rotate; the flux is determined from the rotation of the suspended wire. The instrument can be used with a search coil (see ref 2). - Notes sur la région
