The Super Loki Dart was an American-made rocket that was used for upper atmosphere sounding and meteorological research. This model was used by researchers at the National Research Council of Canada. - Function
-
Sounding rocket for collecting upper atmosphere meteorological data on temperature, pressure and wind speed. - Technical
-
This was a more powerful version of previous versions of the Loki Dart. It could reach and gather data in the altitude range of 100km. It relates to many other instruments in our collection for upper atmosphere meteorological research such as the Black Brant sounding rockets. These rockets worked at altitudes between that of weather balloons and satellites. - Area Notes
