Trans Canada Airlines (TCA) was formed by the Canadian National Railways. They launched their first flight on September 1, 1937, between Vancouver and Seattle. Throughout the next 25 years, TCA became Canada's national airline, and on January 1, 1965, TCA changed their name to Air Canada. Early TCA uniforms were converted military uniforms.
