Used in Montreal and Ottawa by a Canadian family. According to the donor, the saw may not have been used very much. - Function
-
A box in which a product is shipped and sold. In this case a drill-powered circular saw. - Technical
-
Manual saw accessory which when added to an electric drill, converts the drill into a power saw. This company seems to offer a variety of these attachable accessories but also made full-size electric tools. It reflects well a product made to economize on tools purchase for household uses in the 1950s-1960s. PET Tools made products for Sears and Roebuck in the 1950s, and they also have a variety of magazine advertisements in Popular Mechanics magazine in the late 1940s and early 1950s. - Area Notes
