FISHER, - BROCKVILLE, ONT." printed on package front; "BO[STON PICKLING CUCUMBER]/ The best variety for pickles ,/ yields well. Is also excellent/ for cutting fresh. Its good/ shape, color, and great produc-/ tiveness render it one of the/ most desirable sorts for the/ garden./ CULTURE - Plant after the/ ground is settled and warm, in/ hills five or six feet apart./ When all danger from bugs/ and worms is past, thin the/ plants, leaving three or four/ to a hill. Remove the cucum-/ bers from the vine as soon as/ they are of suitable size, as if/ left to ripen they prevent new/ fruit forming./ PUT UP BY/ A.L. [FISHER " printed on reverse.
