FISHER, Brockville, Ont." printed on package front; "THE VOLUNTEER/ TOMATO./ This new Tomato grows very/ large size, is also among the very/ earliest to ripen ; the Tomatoes are/ produced in clusters, very smooth ;/ color bright red, very handsome ; the/ foliage is very dark green. Great/ favorite./ CULTURE. - Sow the seed in a hot/ bed the last of March or first of/ April, and transplant to open ground/ the first of June, 3 1/2 feet apart each/ way. Tomatoes do best in a warm,/ light, dry loam./ PUT UP BY/ A.L. FISHER, Brockville, Ont." printed on reverse. Parks Canada catalogue no.
