- Mfr.’s plate on conveyor frame reads: “WAYLAND MACHINERY COMPANY, INC./WAYLAND PACKING EQUIPMENT/ COVESVILLE No. 405 [number stamped in] VIRGINIA”. Patent numbers, stencilled with white paint on both the left side and the back of the conveyor frame, listed as: “PATENTS NOS. 1672441, 1673172/ 1696066 AND 1706368”. Paper tag nailed to back of conveyor frame reads: “TO: [left empty]/FROM: [left empty]/WAYLAND MACHINERY COMPANY, Inc./Wayland Packing Equipment/FOR FRUITS AND VEGETABLES/ COVESVILLE, VIRGINIA”
