The Remington Junior was introduced in 1933 as a lower priced model intended for use by children and students for social correspondence, homework, etc. This example was acquired by the donor’s parents ca. 1937 (per label on typewriter lid) for personal use. It was later used by donor and donor’s sister for typing school assignments. This example was made in Canada. Le modèle Remington Junior a été introduit en 1933 en tant que modèle à bon marché visé pour l'utilisation des enfants et étudiants pour des correspondances et devoirs. Cet exemple a été acquis par les parents du donateur, environ en 1937 (selon l'étiquette sur le couvercle) pour utilisation personnelle. Designed for light duty, the Remington Junior was a simplified version of the Remington #3 portable. It lacks a two-colour ribbon and a right-hand carriage release lever.
