This item formerly belonged to Dr. H.B. Lane [1897- c. 1970s], who practiced in Toronto during the 1920s, and was on the staff of Toronto Western Hospital. [Ref.2]

Arrow symbol, graduations on scale and labelled scale markings appear in red indicating elevated human temperature [98.3 degrees] UHN catalogue no. "990.6.1b" printed by hand in black ink on bulb end.
