Fine focus tube especially suitable for radiation of the extremities, with a radiator-style arrangement of cooling discs at one end and socket screw-in fitting at the other end. [This same model tube was offered in a water-cooled model] The stainless steel cylinder within which the glass tube is housed provided protection for both the tube and the operator. - "MULLER - MEDIA - METALIX/ NR. 315370 He 2,5 kW/ Made in Germany" printed on plate fixed to central portion of housing. "METALIX" printed on metal plate fixed to threaded end of metal casing. UHN catalogue no. "X969.495" printed by hand in black ink on mid section of tube. Small off-white decal on casing reads "AM/ 3588".
