"2073/ 1187" crudely incised on casing top. "1187" printed by hand in black marker, also on casing top. Small plate applied to casing back reads "SONY/ AC POWER ADAPTER AC-3400/ AC INPUT 117V 60HZ 50W/ DC OUTPUT 13.2V 1.7A [ISO logo]/ SERIAL NO. 33326/ SONY CORP. JAPAN/ [CSA logo]". Yellow label bears "UL" [Underwriters' laboratories] logo. Silver decal, above, reads "CAUTION/ FOR CONTINUED PROTECTION AGAINST/ FIRE HAZARD, REPLACE ONLY WITH/ SAME TYPE 1.5A- 125V FUSE./ DISCONNECT SUPPLY CORD BEFORE CHANGING FUSE."
