- .1 "INVENTED BY/ W & H HUTCHINSON/ SURGICAL INST. MAKERS./ SHEFFIELD" appears in raised print on plate fixed to syringe barrel. "REGISTERED 30 OCTOBER" appears in raised print over coat-of-arms. Text on coat-of-arms can not be discerned. "5" stamped into ball joint connecting extension arm to main body of syringe..2-.4 No markings visible. Small round label applied to one end of.4 case bears handwritten marking "AM 188".
