Canada: COIN DEPICTS THE TORONTO, THE FIRST LOCOMOTIVE BUILT IN CANADA AND 'STEAMED UP' FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 1853. 'TORONTO' BEGAN HER FIRST TRIP IN 1853, PROVIDING REGULAR PASSENGER SERVICE BETWEEN TORONTOAND MACHELL'S CORNERS (NOW AURORA), A DISTANCE OF 48.3KM. THE TORONTO REMAINED IN SERVICE UNTIL SCRAPPED IN 1881. (REF. 1)
