SINGER 99 MODEL MACHINES ARE A 3/4-SIZE VERSION OF THE POPULAR MODEL 66, AND WERE PRODUCED C. 1922-1950S. IT COULD BE USED WITH A VARIETY OF ATTACHMENTS, MANY OF WHICH ACCOMPANY THIS EXAMPLE. IT WAS POSSIBLE TO CONVERT THIS MACHINE FOR USE WITH AN ELECTRIC MOTOR. - Area Notes

- "SINGER", "The Singer Manufacturing Co." & "Great Britain" all printed in gold on machine body. Goldtone oval plate bears Singer logo (stitched 'S', with upright shuttle, spool of thread and crossed needles) and text "THE SINGER MANFG.CO./ TRADE MARK". Plate on cloth bed incised "Y2276108". Selected components incised "SIMANCO" and bear model nos. "SIMANCO/ 2/ 1" incised in underside of bed.
