Redford Henry "Red" Mulock was born August 11, 1886 and joined the Canadian Field Artillery in 1911. In 1915, he transferred to the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS) and became the highest ranking Canadian airmen during the First World War, holding title of Colonel. After his fifth victory on May 21, 1916, he became the first Canadian ace. Col. Mulock was posted with the 1Wing, 3(N)Squadron, 82Wing and the 166 Squadron. - Function
