This shaver was designed and marketed for women. Styled after a Greek column, an advertisement from 1967 stated “Women's shaver in a Greek Column.The Classic Beauty, One side for legs, one for under arms.” [Ref 2] Writing on the shaver head indicates which side should be used for each body part. This shaver was also sold as part of a larger “Norelco/Philishave Beauty Sachet” with more attachments.
