U.S.A.'/ LABEL ON BACK 'DIRE[CTI]ONS/ For O[per]ating/ The Doty V[acu]um Sweeper/ The suction is created by running the/ Sweeper backward and forward the same as/ the old style carpet sweeper./ The Doty Sweeper is operated easily if the/ dirt is emptied often./ TO EMPTY THE DUST BOX/ Stand the machine on the nozzle end with/ bellows side toward you. In this position you/ can easily remove the thumb screws and open/ the box by removing the handle. Empty the/ dirt on a piece of paper by turning open end/ down and jarring the box by hand.
