ACCORDING TO DR. STEDMAN (REF. 1), THIS ARRANGEMENT HAS ADVANTAGE OF SEPARATING EACH TYPE OF ELEMENT WITHOUT AMBIGUITY. IT ACCOMMODATES RARE EARTH & VIII GROUPS AS INTEGRAL & SIGNIFICANT PART OF ORDERLY DEVELOPMENT OF TABLE. OPPOSING NATURE OF ELECTROPOSTIVE & ELECTRO- NEGATIVE ELEMENTS IS CLEARLY SHOWN.
