- Plate mounted on generator reads as follows "EDISON/ GENERAL ELECTRIC/ COMPANY/ CANADIAN WORKS/ SHERBROOKE, P.Q.". Second plate, mounted on opposite side, reads "PATENTED/ OCT 9, 1880 MAR 13, 1881/ 8 NO. 162". Red dymo tape labels read "MC.2.27" & "SHUNT". "43540" incised on brass disk fixed to top. "1819 [damaged text] KW 125 V" incised in one end of shaft.
