AN EXAMPLE OF AVAILABLE LIGHT, FIELD-GLASS TYPE OF STEREOSCOPIC SLIDE VIEWER, DESIGNED FOR GLASS TRANSPARANCIES. THE VERASCOPE & GLYPHOSCOPE CAMERAS (1894-1930'S) WERE BOTH PRODUCED IN 45X107MM SIZE. THE VERASCOPE INTRODUCED THE SMALLER STEREO FORMAT & COULD ALSO BE CONVERTED TO BECOME A VIEWER, PLAYING AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE REVIVAL OF STEREO-PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE 1890'S. - Area Notes
