This model is attributed to W.H. Hewitt, a neighbour of the Snure family of Beamsville, ON & acquired by the Snures c.1920. Hewitt was an associate of John Harris, eldest son of Alanson Harris, and one of the founders of Massy-Harris. According to Pauline Snure, the source of this object, Hewitt & Harris worked together in the conceptualization of farm machinery. This model is said to be one of Hewitt’s ideas for a harrow. - Function
