TEXT INCLUDED: ‘Rescue Signal Table/ FOR USE ON LIFEBOATS/ AND LIFE RAFTS'; ‘Replies from life-saving stations or maritime rescue units to distress signals made/ by a ship or person'; and ‘Landing signals for the guidance of small boats with crews or persons in distress'. Signals are provided for day and night signaling, for the following message: ‘You are seen - assistance will be given as soon as possible'; ‘This is the best place to land'; ‘Landing here highly dangerous'; and ‘Landing here highly dangerous. A more favourable location for landing is in the direction indicated.'
