This terminal was usually designed for a business environment and used a Norpak display board. It also had a built-in modem. With a good connection, like those found in a laboratory or an office situation, it was possible to use interactive software with this computer terminal. In 1983, the North American Presentation Level Protocol Syntax (NAPLPS) graphics language develop from the Canadian Telidon system was formalized, ratified and adopted as a world standard for graphics transmission by computer. - Area Notes
