- Oval plate on one side of generator reads "PATENTED/ APL 13 1875/ JUN 8 1880/ NOV 21 1880": second plate on opposite side reads "NO. 6/ 631". Text panel mounted on top reads "1.2 KILOWATT GRAMME-RING GENERATOR/ Installed in 1885 at a lumber mill on the site of the pre-/ sent Chelsea power plant. Capacity is sufficient to ope-/rate 2 arc lamps. Donated by Gatineau Power Company."

- UNKNOWN. MOTOR IS NOT CONTEMPORARY WITH GENERATOR, AND WAS PROBABLY ADDED IN 1950S.
