George James and D. Reid operated a foundry, machine and hardware shop at 2 Gore St. E., Perth ON c. 1910, and were able to manufacture, sell and repair many of their own products. Lawrence James later joined the company: after 1921 it became known as James Brothers. (ref. 2)
